Apple fritters are probably one of our families favorite fall treats they are simple easy and delicious.
Every year my family and I gather together and we go apple picking at least one of our favorite local Orchards. We preserving bushels of apples in many different ways I’d have to say fritters are definitely a family favorite!! So much so that my sister requests fritters on her birthday every year, as I usually make every member of the family a special treat for their birthday!
Apple fritters are absolutely delicious. When they come out of the hot oil all nice and golden brown and crisp. They are just as amazing the next day. When they are sweetened with the glimmering glaze, it is such a perfect fall time treat!
These soft puffy almost cloud like beautiful fritters are a perfect blend of a doughnut e batter with a nice still crisp tart apple definitely a crowd-pleasing really all year-round treat. (but you know apples are just perfect fresh picked in the fall)
These homemade apple fritters are fairly easy to make with just a few Pantry Staples and a handful of apples you have no better comfort food.
I’m not a huge fan of fried foods but let me tell you these delicious homemade apple fritters are completely worth it. They beat store bought anything . They don’t take that long to prepare. I would say 10 minutes worth of peeling chopping apples and mixing the ingredients, about 3 minutes or so to make the glaze heat up your oil and fry them. You are an Apple Fritter Heaven within minutes.
So let’s not waste one more second and let’s jump right into it and let me share with you how we make these simple easy delicious apple fritters.

- one cup of flour.
- one fourth cup of sugar.
- 3/4 tablespoons of salt.
- 1 1/2 baking powder.
- what is there a cup of milk.
- do you know one egg.
- 2 to 3 peeled and chopped apples equals about 1 Cup
- one teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 tablespoons of milk
2. 2 cups of powdered sugar
3. 1/4 teaspoon of almond extract
To make your glaze you combined all of the ingredients into a bowl and mix thoroughly.
Cut and peel two to three apples and dice them into small chunks. In a separate Bowl combine dry ingredients. mix dry ingredients thoroughly then add your cup of milk.Add one beaten egg and one teaspoon of vanilla. Your batter should be the consistency of a runny pancake batter. Then add in your apples stir together and add spoonfuls into your heated oil. Fry on both sides for 1 to 2 minutes until golden brown place on a paper towel to drain and cool. once cooled you can drizzle or dunk your fritters into your glaze.
